Executive summary

Separate data return, transition assistance and deletion. Agree export formats, preservation of linked records, handover support and treatment of remaining copies.

Test a small export during procurement. Can the company open it independently and recover attachments and history? Assign an internal owner to validate delivery and close old access. These proposed exit controls should be adapted to the service and any applicable retention obligations.
